SparkleTuff™ Anti-Slip Floor Coating is safe and easy to apply (just one coat needed!) and is easy to clean. It has excellent weathering and dirt pickup and stain resistance and strong anti-corrosive characteristics.
SparkleTuff™ Anti-Slip floor, tub and epoxy coating is a transparent, durable semi-gloss floor coating that is highly slip resistant (see slip resistance test data) wet or dry. It can be used indoors or outdoors and on any ADA accessible surface. Working time is 1.25 hours after mixing a batch of the two components. Drying time is 6-8 hours for light foot traffic at 70°F (leave more time for curing if applied below 70°F, but don’t apply below 50°F). It contains low VOCs and no solvents. No special floor preparation necessary on ANY surface (slippery epoxy, slippery polished concrete, glass, marble, slippery polyurea, slippery polyaspartic, glazed porcelain, vinyl, wood, etc., etc.) – just be sure the floor is clean and dry. We also now carry SparkleTuff™ Lite Bite Anti-Slip Floor Coating, which is the exact same product with a bit less grit and more gloss. Both SparkleTuff™ Anti-Slip Floor Coatings provide a semi-glossy, gritty finish that helps protect the coated surface from wear and damage while greatly reducing regular and costly maintenance. If it ever comes time to re-coat high-traffic areas (which is extremely rare), simply add a fresh coat right over the existing coat. Here’s some application instructions for SparkleTuff™ Anti-Slip Floor Coating:
You’ll want to mix the SparkleTuff™ non-skid floor coating often during the application process to assure the grit doesn’t fall to the bottom of the bucket or paint tray. There’s no need to measure the two components if you’re mixing the entire contents of a gallon, quart, etc. Just mix the two containers together thoroughly a be sure not to spill any of the Part B! It’s the hardener.
