HOW MANY USES CAN YOU THINK OF FOR OUR GLOW IN THE DARK TAPES? Mark emergency egress routes and obstructions in home, skyscraper, or factory … light switches … fire extinguishers … flashlights … locks … bathroom doorways … bedrooms … gazebos … porches … emergency shutoff valves … sides (not treads) of stairs … door handles …
Our photoluminescent material is natural, mined strontium aluminate that absorbs ambient light in minutes, then emits it, remaining cool when the lights are out. Its effectiveness lasts for well over a quarter of a century. It’s non-radioactive, so there’s never a disposal problem like with tritium-based material. Much brighter much longer than lead-based glow material. Zero energy cost — how “green” can you get?
FAQs
How to activate glow-in-the-dark tape?
To activate glow tape, expose the products to a light source like sunlight or artificial lighting for about 30 minutes. This charging process allows the products to absorb energy, which they later emit as a glow in the dark stripes. Proper charging ensures maximum brightness and effectiveness in enhancing safety.
How long will glow-in-the-dark tape last?
The duration of the glow emitted by glow tape products varies based on the specific products and the intensity of the charging light. Typically, these tapes can glow for several hours after sufficient charging. The initial brightness gradually diminishes over time.
What can you use glow-in-the-dark tape for?
Glow in the dark tapes have versatile applications and can be used to mark emergency egress routes, obstructions, light switches, fire extinguishers, and stair edges. They're also useful for highlighting door handles, pathways, and other critical areas that require visibility in low-light conditions, thereby enhancing safety. Anti-slip glow in the dark tape is great for wet areas.
Does glow-in-the-dark ever wear out?
The glowing effect of glow tape diminishes over time as the stored energy is released. However, the products can be recharged indefinitely by exposing them to light sources. With proper maintenance, the tapes can maintain their functionality for many years, providing long-term benefits.
How often should I replace glow-in-the-dark tape?
The lifespan of glow in the dark grip tape depends on factors like environmental conditions and usage. High-quality products can last for many years before showing signs of wear. Regular inspections are recommended to assess their condition. If the products show signs of wear or reduced effectiveness, consider replacing it to maintain optimal safety.
